Stone & McCarthy Research Associates (SMRA) was founded by Ray Stone and Ward McCarthy. In 1989 SMRA became the first provider of third-party research on the Bloomberg(c) service for its "worldwide customer base of issuers, financial intermediaries, and institutional investors."
SMRA currently staffs over forty economists and analysts at its offices located in the US, London, Tokyo, Sydney, and Mexico City. The research staff offers their invaluable knowledge gathered through years of experience at securities dealers, major institutional investment houses, government agencies, central banks, and universities.
SMRA continues to provide its research on the Bloomberg(c) service and is available by typing SMR < GO > on Bloomberg.
